At Community Lab, we have a vision of a mindful world in which all individuals have the opportunities and means to flourish, the desire to help others do the same and respect for all forms of life and the environment.
Mission
At the core of Community Lab is our belief in the interconnectedness of all beings. It forms the foundation of our efforts to promote community-driven development in low-resource environments across the world.
We pursue our vision through our Demand-Driven Development and Community Engagement programs.
Demand-Driven Development
Societies that flourish require adequate social and economic systems to be in place so that basic human needs are met.
Our Demand-Driven Development programs aim to ensure the provision of basic needs like healthcare and education. They help build equitable social systems that transfer knowledge and resources to communities. And strengthen the capacities of these communities to take ownership of the development process.
Community Engagement
Everything that happens in the world today affects everyone, everywhere. Globalization has ensured that we are interconnected, interdependent and all bound together in a global social fabric.
Our Community Engagement programs seek to engage all individuals in the broader cause of international development. They seek to make our connections and collective responsibility apparent and compelling. They seek to raise awareness of and spur action on critical development issues. In both small and big ways.
